ArtRallou — Terms, Shipping, Returns, Privacy and Cookies

Last updated: 24 October 2026

1. Scope and acceptance

These Terms govern use of https://artrallou.com and all purchases from the ArtRallou online shop (“ArtRallou”, “we”, “us”). By submitting an order, the customer confirms that they have read and accept these Terms.

ArtRallou sells ready-made, one-of-a-kind, hand-painted clothing, accessories and decorative items. These Terms apply to consumers and business customers. Consumer protection provisions, including the right of withdrawal, apply only to natural persons acting for purposes outside their trade, business or profession.

2. Handmade and unique character

Each product is hand-painted and may have small variations in colour, brushwork, placement or finish. These variations are part of the handmade and unique nature of the product and are not defects where the product substantially corresponds to its description and images.

We take reasonable care to display colours accurately, but their appearance may vary depending on the customer’s screen and device settings.

3. Products, availability and orders

We take reasonable care to present product information, images and prices accurately. As many products are one of a kind, availability can change quickly.

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An automated order-receipt message confirms that we received the order but does not necessarily mean that we accepted it. The contract is concluded when we confirm acceptance or dispatch the product.

We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch, particularly where a product is unavailable, there is an obvious pricing or description error, payment cannot be verified, or there is a reasonable suspicion of fraud. If payment has already been collected, it will be refunded in full without undue delay.

Customers must provide complete and accurate order, billing and delivery information.

4. Prices, taxes and payment

Prices are shown in euros and include applicable taxes where required. Shipping and any other charges are disclosed before the customer finally submits the order.

Payment is taken electronically when the order is placed through Paypercut and its regulated payment partners. ArtRallou does not store full card details. Payment processing may also be subject to the relevant payment provider’s terms and privacy notice.

For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees and other local charges are not included unless expressly stated otherwise. These charges are the recipient’s responsibility.

5. Discount codes

Discount codes apply during the stated period and subject to the conditions announced with each promotion. Unless stated otherwise, codes cannot be combined, exchanged for cash, applied retrospectively or used more than once per order. If an item is returned, only the amount actually paid for that item is refundable.

6. Shipping and delivery

Orders are shipped by courier to the address provided by the customer.

  • Cyprus: estimated delivery time is approximately three (3) business days.
  • Europe: free standard shipping is available for orders over €150.
  • International destinations: estimated delivery time and cost are shown at checkout or provided on request before the customer is bound. Where an individual quote is required, the order becomes final only after the customer accepts the quote and pays the agreed amount.

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by the carrier, customs checks, severe weather or other events outside our reasonable control. Where no different period has been agreed, EU consumer orders will be delivered without undue delay and no later than the period required by applicable law.

For consumers, risk of loss or damage passes when the goods are delivered to the consumer or a third party identified by the consumer, other than the carrier. Customers are responsible for checking that their delivery address is correct and for contacting us promptly if they discover an error.

7. Consumer right of withdrawal

A consumer in the European Union or European Economic Area may withdraw from a purchase without giving a reason within fourteen (14) days from the day on which the consumer, or a third party identified by the consumer other than the carrier, physically receives the goods. For goods delivered separately under one order, the period starts when the last item or part is received.

To exercise this right, the consumer must send a clear statement before the deadline to info@artrallou.com or to the postal address above. The model form at the end of this page may be used but is not mandatory.

The consumer must return the goods without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days after notifying us of the withdrawal, to: ArtRallou — Eirini Christopoulou, 24 Tyrannoktonon Street, 4104 Agios Athanasios, Cyprus.

The consumer bears the direct cost of returning the goods and is responsible for secure packaging. A tracked service is recommended. Merely returning goods without a prior clear notice is not sufficient to exercise the right of withdrawal.

Goods may be handled only as necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, as they could be examined in a physical shop. The consumer is responsible for any diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary. Clothing and accessories should, where possible, be returned clean, unworn beyond trying on, and with their labels. Missing original packaging does not automatically remove the right of withdrawal, but the consumer remains responsible for any resulting reduction in value.

8. Refunds following withdrawal

Following a valid withdrawal, we refund all payments received for the returned goods and the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered for the original delivery. Additional costs resulting from the consumer’s choice of a more expensive or faster delivery method are not refundable.

The refund is made without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days after we are informed of the withdrawal, using the same payment method unless expressly agreed otherwise and without fees to the consumer. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or the consumer provides evidence of having returned them, whichever occurs first.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to business purchases. It does not limit a consumer’s separate rights where goods are faulty or non-conforming.

9. Faulty, incorrect or damaged goods — legal guarantee

If an item arrives faulty, incorrect, damaged or materially different from the agreed description, the customer should contact info@artrallou.com as soon as possible, quoting the order number and, where useful, providing photographs. A request for prompt contact does not restrict rights under mandatory law.

Consumers benefit from the statutory legal guarantee of conformity provided by applicable law. Under Cyprus law, the legal guarantee for new goods lasts two (2) years from delivery. Where goods lack conformity, the consumer may be entitled to free repair or replacement and, where the legal conditions are met, a proportionate price reduction or termination and refund. Repair or replacement must be free of charge and completed within a reasonable time, which under Cyprus law may not exceed twenty-five (25) days after the seller is informed unless the consumer expressly agrees to an extension. If a serious lack of conformity appears within thirty (30) days after delivery, the consumer may, where the legal conditions are met, reject the goods and terminate the contract or request immediate replacement. ArtRallou does not offer an additional commercial warranty beyond mandatory statutory rights.

Normal wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, failure to follow care instructions, accident or unauthorised alteration is not a lack of conformity that existed at delivery.

10. User accounts

A user may create an account to manage orders and view order history. Users are responsible for accurate account information, keeping passwords confidential and notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorised use. We may suspend or close an account used unlawfully, abusively or contrary to these Terms, subject to legal obligations to retain order records.

11. Business customers

Where a customer acts in the course of trade, business or profession, consumer-specific rights, including the 14-day right of withdrawal, do not apply. Any written wholesale or commercial agreement prevails over these Terms in the event of conflict.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable to a business customer for indirect or consequential loss or for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill or business opportunity. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Intellectual property and permitted use

Designs, artwork, photographs, text, logos, graphics and other website content belong to ArtRallou or are used under licence and are protected by applicable law. Purchasing a product does not transfer intellectual property rights in the artwork or design.

No content or design may be copied, reproduced, commercially exploited, adapted or distributed without prior written permission, except where mandatory law permits it.

13. Liability and website availability

We take reasonable steps to keep the website secure and available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance or security.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

14. Events outside our control

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by an event outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, third-party strikes, transport or network interruption, government action or a serious cybersecurity incident. We will inform the customer and take reasonable steps to reduce the effect. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

15. Complaints, governing law and disputes

Please first send complaints to info@artrallou.com so that we can try to resolve them promptly.

These Terms and contracts with ArtRallou are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. If the customer is a consumer habitually resident in another country, this choice does not deprive them of mandatory protections under the law that would apply without this choice. Consumers may bring proceedings before any court competent under applicable law. For business customers, the courts of the Republic of Cyprus have exclusive jurisdiction.

Consumers may also obtain information about Alternative Dispute Resolution bodies from the Cyprus Consumer Protection Service. The former European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform has been discontinued and is no longer available.

16. Privacy policy

16.1 Controller

The controller is Eirini Christopoulou, trading as ArtRallou, using the contact details at the top of this page.

16.2 Data we collect

Depending on how the website is used, we may collect:

  • identity and contact details, such as name, address, email and telephone number,
  • billing, shipping and tax details,
  • order, return, correspondence and customer-service records,
  • account information, such as username and encrypted password,
  • limited payment and transaction data received from the payment provider, but not the full card number,
  • technical and analytics data, such as IP address, device/browser type, pages visited, referral source and website interactions,
  • cookie and consent preferences.

16.3 Purposes and legal bases

We process data:

  • to receive, take payment for, ship, return and support orders because processing is necessary for a contract or steps requested before a contract,
  • to meet invoicing, accounting, tax, regulatory and legal obligations,
  • for fraud prevention, security, claims management and proper store operation based on legitimate interests where these are not overridden by the user’s rights,
  • to create and manage an account at the user’s request,
  • for analytics through Google Analytics and Jetpack/WooCommerce Analytics only with prior consent to the extent that non-essential cookies or similar technologies are used.

We do not send marketing newsletters unless such a service is introduced in the future and the required consent is obtained or another valid legal basis applies.

16.4 Recipients

We may share strictly necessary data with:

  • hosting, WordPress/WooCommerce and technical-support providers,
  • Paypercut and its regulated payment partners,
  • couriers and postal operators,
  • accountants, lawyers and other professional advisers,
  • Google for Google Analytics and Automattic/Jetpack for analytics, where the required consent has been given,
  • public authorities where required by law.

Depending on the service and contractual terms, providers act as independent controllers or processors.

16.5 Transfers outside the EEA

Some technical or analytics providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, lawful mechanisms are used, such as an adequacy decision, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for certified organisations, or approved Standard Contractual Clauses together with appropriate supplementary measures.

16.6 Retention

We keep data only for as long as needed for the relevant purpose. Order and invoicing records are retained for the period required by applicable tax, accounting and legal rules. Account data is kept while the account remains active and afterwards where necessary for legal duties or claims. Correspondence and technical logs are retained for a reasonable period appropriate to their purpose and security needs. Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings of the relevant services.

16.7 Rights

Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, users may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Requests should be sent to info@artrallou.com. Reasonable information may be requested to verify identity.

Users may also complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus (https://www.dataprotection.gov.cy) or the competent supervisory authority in their country.

16.8 Security and children

We apply appropriate technical and organisational security measures, although no online service can guarantee absolute security. The shop is not directed at persons under 18. A purchase by a minor must involve the consent and participation of a parent or guardian.

17. Cookie policy

Cookies are small files or similar technologies stored on or accessed from a user’s device.

  • Strictly necessary cookies: required for the cart, checkout, security, account login, language choice and consent preferences. They do not require consent where genuinely necessary for a service requested by the user.
  • Preference cookies: remember language and other choices where they are not strictly necessary.
  • Analytics cookies: used by Google Analytics and Jetpack/WooCommerce Analytics to measure traffic and improve the website. They are activated only after consent.

On the first visit, a cookie preference tool allows users to accept or reject non-essential categories without consent being preselected. Users can change or withdraw their choice at any time through the “Cookie Settings” link on the website. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not prevent a purchase.

The current list showing each cookie’s name, provider, purpose and duration must be displayed and kept updated in the cookie settings tool, as cookies may change when WooCommerce, Jetpack, Google Analytics or other plugins are updated.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update this page for future website use or future orders, particularly when services or legal requirements change. The revision date appears at the top. The version governing an order is the one made available when the order was submitted, unless a change is mandatorily required by law.
